Ajax technical director Marc Overmars confirmed that Liverpool are weighing up a move to sign Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen this summer.

 

Dutch newspapers reporting today that Eriksen is aware of LFC interest but wants things done respectfully, for Ajax's sake.

Would like Fischer but he needs gametime and we would stunt him I would feel. If we did buy a player like him then they would need to go on loan ASAP.

Eriksen would be a brilliant buy and add that bit of creativity in the middle of midfield. Still need that strong DM to challenge/cover for Lucas and add that bit of steel and power in the team. With Agger being his captain for Denmark and Suarez having played with him at Ajax could give us a small advantage.

Wasn't sure about Williams but he's done well since he's stepped up to the Premiership and is probably in the prime of his career. Depends of price but are worse buys out there.

 

Think I would prefer Sakho if that is actually a possibility. He is a colossus.

 

Bar Williams, we seem to be being linked with a hell of a lot of attacking players but not many defensive ones. Good job the media always get things wrong eh?
