So...... Aspas is confirmed. no big signings confirmed yet but we kind of expect the minger to turn up any day for a medical and is that big? no so sure. Then we've the two minor buys still being talked about and mkhitaryan as the one big one?

I am going to be controversial and say that Uruguay will win the confed cup with a suarez hat trick and then he'll bite/punch/mazi saltue someone to drop his price by 20mil...

 

Interesting silly season for us so far Toure, Aspas and Alberto all signed and plenty more linked, I don't see us signing that big name player unless Suarez goes but let's just hope that the recent signings of Sturridge and Coutinho combined with the 3 mentioned all work out well.

And we've made 15+ on Carroll so there must be money available and surely other players on their way out?

Wanyama is a good player and exactly the sort of player I think we need right now, but with all that said I'd hate to see Henderson go. Wanyama coming in without Henderson going I'm all for

 

That would be a strange move, he's become more popular and has improved over his time at Liverpool. Sell Shelvey but keep Hendo imo.

we have sold Carroll, £15 mill brought in, Alberto and Aspa £12 ill still £3 mill up, add to that the alleged budget we have of £20 mill.

can we sell Downing and Shelvey as well, maybe Reina.

we have some money to play with, if Mignolet goes through that's £11 mill odd to take off.

It would be strange but nor is it a popularity contest. Fan favourites get moved on sometimes, thats football. If Henderson going helps make for a better teama nd squad then so be it. I'd be sad to see him go though.

 

I agree, he's not someone I want to leave but if he does so be it, my real concern is if he goes but Shelvey, Downing stay.

 

Think Wanyama has more potential to become a monster than Hendo... but I'd be sad to see him go, he should be kept. He can be trusted to always give a 6+/10 performance.

I doubt it's true...

But if BR and the transfer committee sell Hendo to raise funds whilst keeping Allen, I'll be annoyed. Hendo has shown himself a much better player than Joe this season and more flexible in what he can contribute to the team - goals, strength, ball retention, energy, can play deeper or more advanced, covering RB at times or even wide left forward. Why the **** would anyone sell him before Allen.

As others have said I'd see Spearing & Shelvey out before Henderson. I don't think he's going to turn into a marvellous player but I think he'll be a good squad player even in an improved LFC squad. (If you know what I mean). Throw Downing in (or out)there too.

I'm reserving judgement on Allen until this season. So midfield:

I'd say that's competition all round wouldn't you? I'd be happy with that

 

Agreed that it isn't a popularity contest but equally it shouldn't be a managers favourite contest either. If we need to sell a midfielder to bring in another then why the hell would it be Henderson and not Allen.If he does sell Henderson it won't go down well with the fans simply because it would be a bad choice and show serious lack of respect for a player who's worked his ass of fand deserves more respect.
