Can someone kindly explain how you make the players "grow"?

Do you have to play them regulary or can you just dump them in the reserves and hope?

Got to play them, loan them, give them time here and there. How much you play them can determine the growth. If I use Suarez for example I have heard some only get him to 87 and some have got him to 89 by the time he hits his peak. Think it is all about hwo often you use the player AND do you get the stats, man of the match, for said players to give them those extra bits of growth.

  5. They do grow regardless but it is much quicker if they are playing. There seems to be three levels of growth:

    - Slight: sat wasting in your reserves
    - Medium: sending them out on loan
    - High: playing them (this could possibly be split into two too, playing as part of the first eleven and playing bit parts here and there etc)

Edit: and as Bluff says, they need to be playing well, getting decent stats and rating <ok>

I would add the next level to take them to the top of their growth is:

    Striker- goals, assists
    Midfielder- completion rate, assists
    Defender & GK- Clean sheets

and then all with MOTM performances. Wonder if winning trophies does anything to them as well? Btw, I am in 2015..... <ok> <yikes>

Gerrez, should I start another Bib Theory thread <laugh> it looks like Allen and Lucas are on the bench if so!

The pics should be up on the website and are on twitter for sure. Also, Rodgers ruling out a big name signing this month, lol.

Just want to get through this season with Ingolstadt and see if I am still in CL and what money I can get. Man, I really wish I could get Boniperti back. loaned him, he was worth like 5 mil, by the end, he shot up to 82 overall and 19 mil. <doh>

  16. I'm dominating League One with Aldershot Town. Sat at the top and I'm twenty points clear with about sixteen games to go, all the first team players are around the 70 rating mark now with bench around 65 and reserves at 60ish. Not got much money in the bank (about £500k and £8k pw wages) so can see the Championship being hard. That's when I will start playing more games too though <ok>

  18. As I've shown above, my first team is superb for that level but I severely lack depth. I got offered £9.5m from Seville for Mattheus but he refused the move which I though was strange. However, I think it wasn't him rejecting it, I think that is a 'game' thing, I think the real reason is because I only had two reserves (20 players in total including three keepers) <yikes>

Squad depth, ya you ****ed yourself there! <laugh>

I tried to do the Ultimate team thing again and it is OK but just not my kip-a-tie.

  20. I don't need squad depth, players get tired when you have a couple of games a week but I always use all three subs, plus I chop and change a few from the bench when needed. there are enough international breaks in the game for players to recover, plus they only need a full week every now and again anyway!

PS...last night I drew with Leeds in the FA Cup. I then played the second leg of the St Johnston's Trophy only to find that the replay against Leeds was the very next day <doh> My players were ****ed but managed to draw again and win 4-3 on penalties <ok>
