Part owned by BMG Bernard is. A great relationship with Porto they have. He will go to Porto for much cheaper as BMG will not ask for money, trusting Porto to resell for a large price and a larger profit for them. Effectively Porto would only buy half of him.
Graham Hunter says that Valencia are looking at potential replacements for Soldado which could indicate that they are resigned to losing him. However, Valencia are still adamant on receiving the maximum amount (which is the release clause).
Ben smith all over he even managed the again for the 50th time this summer squeeze in the reference to both bans. What a gaping festering arsehole Ben Smith is
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ews/liverpool-fc-boss-brendan-rodgers-5325887 mroe form rodgers mouth on reina. now its reina had barca line up this time. the interesting line if you can believe it is that he only bought mingolet cos reina was going for a similar amount... I have to put that "potentially" in the evidence that we've no cash pile. not very strong and could only mean he wanted the 20mil for mikhtiaryan but still....
This was obvious for me Valdes f-cked it all up for poor Pepe (only for a season mind) but we HAD to act and get a keeper in.
@Futbol_Mercado El Liverpool ofrece 30 millones de euros por el delantero español del Valencia, Roberto Soldado. Liverpool has offered €30m for Valencia's Roberto Soldado.
they say something like that but i am skeptical... though i suppose we brought toure in... maybe toure ought to explain to suarez how ****e arsenal are....
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...they-have-no-intention-of-selling-luis-suarez yet more from rodgers.. and i quote: "He has been given a team built around him. I made some big calls to make it work to suit his strengths." what big calls would they be? selling carroll... is rdogers about to say he only did that to suit suarez.... i can;t think of anything else.
Either that or we were looking to get rid after the Evra thing and it was BR call to keep the ****er.
Depending on how true the soldado rumors are: Conversion Rates Roberto Soldado = 23.6% Radamel Falcao = 22.9% Zlatan Ibrahimovic = 19.2% Cristiano Ronaldo = 14.5% Luis Suarez = 12.2%
You can leave the last one as it is if he ****s off elsewhere I just can't see the Soldado thing happening. I know we brought in Toure but that was a free. If we did go out and spend this kind of money on a 28 year old there would be a much lower re-sale value etc. Not that I'd be complaining but it certainly doesn't fit what we're led to believe the club philosophy is nowadays.
I think there is a philosophy there which is a good one but when you can get a 28 year old on top of his game that really should not be a miss int he system we play, I would do it. If it gets you fourth it is totally worth it.
Sources close to the club plus Graham Hunter have said that we're interested and HAVE bid for him. I do hope we push for him because he's a top player.
I'm gonna believe that it's true (please let it be true!) just because I could do with cheering up after all this Suarez **** going on!
If he were to come - would that mean he would play as the centre forward, thus moving Sturridge out wide? Soldado is quite a limited player and isn't the typical versatile 'Rodgers' type signing. Either way - he's a player who scores goal and takes chances. We need to improve our finished drastically - even though we scored a lot of goals this season, we still squandered chances.
