Looks like we dodged a massive bullet by not signing Vegard Forren. He has gone back to Norway without playing a single minute of first team football for Southampton. Well done Rodgers for not signing this chump. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/10542679.Vegard_Forren_rejoins_Molde/ Vegard Forren has ended a disastrous spell at Saints by returning to his former club, Molde. The centre-back has re-signed for the Norwegian team, just six months after making a £3.5m move to St Maryâs. Forren, 25, did not play a single minute of first-team football in his time with Saints. Just a few weeks ago, the Norway international had insisted that he would not be leaving the club to rejoin his old side. âI am very fond of Molde and hope they do well,â he said. âBut right now itâs not an option for me.â His agent, Jim Solbakken, had also said earlier this summer that Forren âabsolutelyâ intended to stay with Saints and was âdefinitelyâ in the clubâs plans. However, behind the scenes it has been said that the defender has not lived up to expectations, and both sides have now cut ties with each other.
Our recruitment team are doing a great job behind the scenes in compiling lists of players that we can afford and might be available for us," Rodgers told Liverpoolfc.com on Thursday. "What we've done in the early part of the summer is to improve the squad. That's something I feel we've done with the players we've brought in. "Now what's important over the next three to five weeks is improving the team. That's something the club is working very hard at. "I'm sure by the time the end of August comes we'll be ready and we'll have a terrific squad ready to challenge."
I dont think it will be positions of such, it will more like like - more creativity, technical ability, improve penetration, improve ball from midfield to attack, add this many goals to the team etc etc. If you look at our front 4 at the end of the season: ---------------Coutinho---------------- ----Downing--------------Henderson--- ---------------Sturridge--------------- I'd say Coutinho, Henderson and Sturridge all contributed well to all the things on the list (even Sturridge provided Gerrard and Coutinho will the kind of runs they like to play the ball out of midfield to) plus a good number of goals and/or assists. But Downing did not contribute those things enough, so that area of the pitches becomes under question. But if Suarez stays he gets that spot. Right center back is the other area when you review it like I did in the above way.
Never. They're doubling the power so that it can accelerate particles at twice the speed it was. Our time is coming
I don't know how all that malarky is going to affect me, the mental scars are a worry! I take it you meant "soon" (bit early to be drunk)?
Soon indeed. Been relegated to phone I won't be far behind you. Been meaning to sort it out for a while and now may have been caught
