1 player they have bought and he's generally not offensive minded which is what they need. Going to be tight 1-0's it seems.
Well, if it stays as it is its clear that Utd and Arsenal are the big losers out of this transfer window. Although I think Fellani and Ozil will both be good signings, I still think both clubs will drop off the title challenge this year, as they haven't strengthened as significantly as Chelsea and City. However thats been said about many Utd squads under Fergie which ended up as champs, not sure Moyes has the ability just yet to push them on though. Glad to see we ended the window with a flourish to dispel the doom and gloom thats been flying around our board recently and with so many of the top clubs in transition cant help but think we really have to push on this year.
They have some decent players in. ------McCarthy---Barry-------- ------------Barkley------------- -Mirallas--------------Pienaar--- -----------Lukaku--------------
Still waiting on confirmation of Coentrao... Turns out it didn't go through in time! please log in to view this image

Nice post. Yes we have areas that can be improved, but compared to recent years this is a strong squad with competition for most places.
Id agree with that if bacon face was still the manager and they had signed a few decent players to improve their squad but I don't think they have the squad or the manager to compete for the title this season.
Did I say otherwise (unfortunately). This season it's really hard to predict what is going to happen. Even the "these 3 clubs are streets ahead in quality" is open to scrutiny. It's not to hard to envisage the scenario in which United finish outside of the top4.
experience is a great thing. utd have lost gill and ferguson which naturally means others must learn. I think they just learned about deadline day. city should win this under pelligrini. chelsea are not streets ahead, their squad is not balanced. utd have defense and rvp... rooney will prob moan on for a while and play until he gets bored and goes looking for hookers. Spurs and arsenal are not ahead of utd and neither are we. I can see a scenario where.... like cheslea shock 2 years ago utd could well be outside the top 4 but it is unlikely. probably highly unlikely.
