Sign them two, keep Suarez.. What a fantastic Summer that would be. Although I don't expect us to sign a new winger, so any potential transfer in that department is a bonus in my eyes. BUT, like Frank I won't believe anything until they're awkwardly leaning on objects around Melwood, and they're holding Ayre's bic biro.
Or the 20m figure could be the total we're paying for these two? Sell Skrtel for 10m plus the surplus we've already made, we'd have a net spend of about 4m, Given and Moses on frees and there's no longer any more soon and gloom?
Yeah I imagine the combined fee for both is £20M. Would be very pleased with that. A loan deal for Moses would be a nice bonus. Not his biggest fan but would make a good impact sub at the very least.
i would say that the reality is nobody is close on either fee.. ilori was 6mil all the time now its suddenly 8mil... divide by 2? 4mil seems fair. as for the 8mil sakho for 19mil or whatever... thats utter rubbish unitl someone admits it. queue undisclosed fee stuff.... If tomorrow we are seeing given (unbelievable) ilorli and sahko turn up and then moses if he turns down west brom it'll be like casualty on a friday night at anfield... and poor toure needing his gorin massaged and all
I didn't say this the other day? And Hyypia was/is right footed...
Apologies, thought it was you. I'm sure he was left footed, if not it makes his strike against Juventus even better!
Yeah he was definitely right footed. I remember him emphasising that it was on his left foot after the Juventus goal.
Shaqiri having a bit of a mare since coming on against Chelsea. Maybe not such a bad thing that there were no legs behind that transfer rumour.
Wenger doesn't care. ‘In our job, there is a technical risk when you buy more than three players as you unbalance a bit the stability of your squad. 'It’s always difficult when you bring so many players in to predict how well they’ll do. You have to find a way to integrate.’
gnashing of teeth all season lads... chronic humor this transfer window watching a ****e small club with nothing but a donkey with a mule kick that's sold for thoroughbred money and them buying a half team at mega money as a result.... eriksen will be tasty, no question... but lamela and soldado are the impressive buys.
It is interesting, surely the whole wage structure at Spurs has changed now? How are they going to keep everyone happy? What happens if they don't reach the CL this season or the next?
