No one, or thing is perfect, but someone who claims to be the son of god has clearly lost the plot. The BBC is hardly in the same league, for all its faults.
I can make my own mind up on things, but to be believing in someone who claimed to be the son of god. Is a bit out there mate. Also he was in the Green Party fighting for climate change which you say is rubbish. So is he to be believed or not to be believed?
Not that I'm one of them, but most practicing Christians believe they are the son of god... just part of their makeup..each to their own! Like you've made a point of and what I said at the start, I make my own mind up........I believe some of his views/points are valid IMO
Same as Moses and his burning bush!! I believe in some of his views/points, that's it.. What he did or believed in the past, I'm not really interested. How about BBC Deceit, false claims, incompetence and cover-ups.......They are out there, let's not pretend there aren't skeletons in the closet from them.. I bet a lot of those reporters think they're the sons of gods too!!!
Petrol v Diesel poor research by .gov? no, well more like scientific estasblishment of Petro chemical industry. . gov did ban lead in petrol but science back then was nothing like today, main issue there was an imbalance of production and use of. The last residues from the towers was the stuff to do roads and things like it from ...................... In the [late ] 60's a shortage of raw tar started to encourage concrete for roads in lesser use areas! Chlorofluorocarbon, or CFC, THIS WAS THE MAJOR REPAIR JOB TO THE OZONE LAYER ... it was BANNED ... was in more than just hairspray!
For me, the bottom line is that whenever you hear the words 'expert' or 'scientist' you can almost guarantee what they are saying to be completely and utterly wrong. And as a final thought, if a substantial number of people in this country wanted a heat pump, you can also guarantee that there would be huge delays in actually getting one, as the companies supplying and installing them wouldn't have the staff or the infrastructure to deal with the demand. And even with the tiny uptake in electric cars the number of charging points in cities and on motorways is apparently way below current demand, and breakdowns of these charging points are also frequent. Add on the recent drop in petrol prices and the rise in electricity costs and it's now a comparable cost.
Eric Van Daneken? He has some very interesting theories on the link between various religions and possible alien visits. Fascinating stuff.
I've not read that one. I've read Chariots of the Gods, the Stones of Kirabati (spelling) and Pathways of the Gods. I'm sure that they were 'sensationalised' for commercial purposes, but I still found them fascinating and thought-provoking.
I do have a bit of a chuckle with some of the comments on here.. Someone who over 20 years ago that probably had a dish too many of whacky magic mushrooms claiming he’s the son of god, is doomed to have no credibility for some his current views.. Should that also be the case of anyone believing in a god, which surely in its own right is controversial? Do most politicians have credibility? What about the likes of Tony Blair, should he have credibility? Sent hundreds of troops never to return to Iraq on a hunch they had weapons of mass destruction in an illegal war.. only to be honoured with a knighthood for his troubles.. Didn’t he just pop out of the woodwork sticking his oar in regarding dishing out vaccines for the so say pandemic or was he just promoting his latest book? What about the credibility of those in the so say pandemic, reporters/news channels/newspapers scaremongering individuals, leading to ridiculous measures that were taken that destroyed peoples livelihoods, children's education, other serious medical conditions & mental health problems etc..& outrageous distribution of vaccinations Willynilly, rather than concentrating on those that actually needed it and what it was meant for when it was created.. There are many avenues I would question credibility!!
