I've heard promising things about a certain somebody else signing before long (this is not from a club source!)

Man, we could be doing with him in the last couple of games. Good news, and obviously our medical folks must be convinced the repairs have worked before giving him a 4 year deal.

If it's Clyne, I have as well.

Shh Joey. I wasn't going to announce that yet. I don't want to steal Jayrod's limelight. I might change my mind now.

Fantastic news! I sense Clyne may stay, but Schneiderlin I'm still doubtful over.. even with rumors suggesting Arsenal and Spurs are looking at other targets. If Schniderlin is the only player we lose this transfer-window, and we bag a few more rising stars, I'd be expecting a very exciting 2015-16 season.

I think if Pogba doesn't go to PSG then they might well go for Morgan

I could stomach that. I might even want them to win the Champions League if that happens.

I could stomach Morgan going anywhere except Spurs or Liverpool. Man United I could just about stomach.

JRod was always a hungry player - he must be starving by now. Great.

More important than just signing a player...shows the world that another team wanting one of our players doesn't mean he is off.

If that's the case, I wouldn't complain. That's fair. He could leave and we wouldn't get much. But he's going to stay and maybe we get a lot more. He will also likely make more money, but that's okay.. it's win-win.

Absolutely. They probably said "Come on Jay, sign the contract. You've seen what we can do when the world thinks there is a crisis. We've looked after you this year when you've been injured. Get fit, get in the team, score goals and see where it takes us. You may end up in the top 4 with us, you may not. Have a good year, see where we are and see where you are."

    or

"Come on Jay, Spuds are **** and Pochettino is a lying, cheating ****er. Sign here, or V will beat the crap out of your good leg"
