Official Pre-season testing thread

Kamui seems to have drawn the short straw. He is only listed as testing on Friday 31st which, unless it rains before, will be the WET testing day!

 

Sebastian will be testing on the first 2 days.

 

I can't understand why Force India and Caterham are running young drivers in this.

The last one for Force India will probably be 50/50 for Hulk and Perez

 

Prefer Day 2.

Is sky covering this live? or is it work sticking with autosport live?

Also what happens if it rained all four days?

 

Just quick highlights at the end of the day on sky. No full track cameras I don't think.

That means that his car already has 'the finger' built in

 

Well that doesn't appear to have a long, thin "finger" out the front, but nor does it seem to join into the front wing like the Ferrari does. It doesn't actually seem that low either!

 

It will have the finger sticking up in the air at the front!

 

That image is not this years RB.

 

That would make sense, you can kinda make out the stepped nose.

 

It also says WEBBER on the garage floor.

Didn't see that, I just used the picture which Infiniti themselves linked.

 

They have realised that theirs is not as big as the others. So they need a bigger one

Clearly Lotus were psychic when they said they knew another team wouldn't make it!
