I tried that and all i got was a boner. It didn't actually make me feel any better.

Anyway, i see the boycott isn't going to happen, as usual the smaller teams are all mouth and no trousers, shame, i was hoping they'd make a stand, if Bernie's right about 14 cars on the grid, then that's just madness, but it's great news for WEC....

Sadly they don't have a voice. Bernie couldn't give a crap, the rich teams don't give a crap, half the "fans" don't give a crap. The sport is a mess, and anyone that's making good coin right now can't see beyond the end of their noses. It's bloody scandalous.

Right, getting back to F1, I call Rosberg on pole.

It'll be Hamilton, he's always gone well in North America.

Hamilton wastes a set of tyres in Q1 by the looks of it. Odd.

I think The Guardian were hyping up the possibility of a boycott but I've been very impressed by Bob 'Crow' Fernley. He doesn't mince his words.

They really need to allow the teams to use more power units. 5 is clearly not enough, and with over 20 races on next years calendar, i can see half the grid taking penalties next season

You'd think, but at the beginning of this season there was speculation as to whether half the field would finish each race due to power unit failures. Reliability is already pretty good, and the engine freeze still allows changes to improve reliability. I expect Honda to be the only supplier to get close to running out next season.

Slightly unexpected statistic from the BBC. Only two drivers have made every Q2 this season - KMag and Kvyat.

Hamiltons excuse for not getting pole will be wrong wheel balances inb4 David Croft.

Does Nico have that extra in his pocket?

Good lap by Rosberg, but it's been in races this year where he's been consistently beaten in a straight fight. Lets see if he can reverse the trend and give us a title fight.

Rosberg has to hope he has got better at coping with Hamilton breathing down his neck.
