The car is the class of the field, his only challenger is still 36 points behind and may think twice next time, so yes, given the greater context of the championship than just the race.

definitely comparable to Turkey. Both were totally avoidable and happened on a straight. I doubt Merc care who was right\wrong at this point, it is up to the drivers to ensure it doesn't happen.

Or maybe his challenger has just indicated that he won't put up with any such move.

Lewis behind. Nico angled towards right. Lewis’ choice: lift or get on grass. He wasn’t “beside” Nico. https://t.co/1B8kqVvPY2

    Look....

    1. Hamilton beaten off line again.

    2. Racing incident. I have to say two years ago Hamilton bullied Rosberg out of way and now Rosberg's manned up and closed the door... for me that's crucial for both men and Rosberg had to do it or Hamilton would walk all over him for rest of year.

    3. Wolf whining about it. Mr lada said it was racing and defended Rosberg almost.

    4. This is going to spice this title race up.... great stuff.

Toto says no ones fault, but defends Niki to avoid full civil war!

A still like that doesn't paint the whole picture tbh. There was some blame from both sides there. But Merc can sort that one out. :p

I really don't mind some aggressive blocking or passing though. Racing would be dull without it. So no complaints here.

Lewis had a lot more to lose there than Nico. Real shame for the WDC.

If they both keep crashing out neither of them will win the championship.

McLaren seem to have decided they don't want points today. What on earth is this strategy. They've already lost a pitstop to Massa.

good, but mercedes won't let it go that far, they'd probably boot one out, Lewis probably.

Look if Hamilton wants to get by Rosberg has just said it's not going to be cheap.

Compare this to last 2 years where Rosberg gave it up easy and got his ass handed to him.

Hamilton now knows what he can't do

Must qualify first and start better or pass the guy clean.

Little sneers like the wind comment or tossing the hat have made Rosberg man up finally. Good for him.

Hamilton needs to say ok that's the way it is and come back harder. His quali yesterday was tops
    But his starts are abysmal.

Ferrari have switched Vettel onto a medium v medium battle until the end with Verstappen and Raikonnen?

Have they handed the race to Max and/or Daniel Ricc?!

Not at all. They are gaining. What an undercut.

Against Ricci it's a great undercut but can he pass Raikonnen and Verstappen??
