It looks almost the same as last Sunday doesnt it? Maybe they asked him to practice that two years ago? lol
Rosberg isnt good at overtaking and he isnt good at close racing. He runs good from the front if no one is challenging him.
Interesting stat I haven't seen posted, if Rosberg wins in Abu Dhabi, then he "only" has to finish second in the remaining races to win the championship. So either Hamilton has to win every race, or hope that Rosberg has worse luck than him.
Hamilton has to capitalise on the fact that he made Rosberg crack in the last race.. If he gets pole Rosberg will have a difficult time beating him and if he is next to Rosberg on the grid - Rosberg will panic again. I think Hamilton will be very confident that he has the speed and positive mindset over Rosberg now and he should and he needs to use that to good effect. I think Rosberg is showing that his feathers are ruffled even his demeanour has changed recently. Hamilton needs to capitalise on that now. If he does then he will beat Rosberg nine times out of ten.
Here are Lewis Hamilton's races at Abu Dhabi so far. Haven't started lower than P4 at that track, had pole twice, both times had to retire with car problems. Won from 2nd in 2010 and in 2013 finished 10th after starting 4th. So his qualifying results aren't so bad there. It is reasonable to assume that if he qualifies well and his car doesn't have the usual problems it will be hard to beat him at Abu Dhabi. HAMILTON 2009 - Started Grid P1 ....... Retired with brake failure. 2010 - Started Grid P2 ....... Finished 2nd 2011 - Started Grid P2 ....... Finished 1st 2012 - Started Grid P1 ....... Retired - Fuel Pressure failure. 2013 - Started Grid P4 ....... Finished 10th ROSBERG 2009 - Started Grid P9 ....... Finished 9th 2010 - Started Grid P9 ....... Finished 4th 2011 - Started Grid P7 ....... Finished 6th 2012 - Started Grid P7 ....... Retired - Accident. 2013 - Started Grid P3 ....... Finished 3rd
IF you analyze his demeanour after the race it was definitely not Rosberg-like.. even his - Dont tell me that Hamilton is catching me - comment was not like like Rosberg. I think he broke under pressure, and it is something I believe Hamilton could exploit in future if he finds himself behind Rosberg. And if he tries too hard to prove that he didnt break under pressure he will find himself making the same mistake like the previous race and cause a crash again.
Looks like it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/24795236 Benson hardly mentions Hamilton at all so he must have had a poor race Actually looks like Rosberg and Hamilton could be fairly close, I always remember Rosberg doing alright on the Tilke tracks compared to Schumi.
Yes, in Abu Dhabi. But at the same time Hamilton, as a newcomer now getting used to the Mercedes car and team, outscored Rosberg 189 to 171 in 2013, and Rosberg was in that car since 2010. That even though Rosberg won two races.
Sorry guys I made a little mistake..Hamilton was 7th last year not 10th.. my apologies! HAMILTON 2009 - Started Grid P1 ....... Retired with brake failure. 2010 - Started Grid P2 ....... Finished 2nd 2011 - Started Grid P2 ....... Finished 1st 2012 - Started Grid P1 ....... Retired - Fuel Pressure failure. 2013 - Started Grid P4 ....... Finished 7th ROSBERG 2009 - Started Grid P9 ....... Finished 9th 2010 - Started Grid P9 ....... Finished 4th 2011 - Started Grid P7 ....... Finished 6th 2012 - Started Grid P7 ....... Retired - Accident. 2013 - Started Grid P3 ....... Finished 3rd
Interesting.... Could well just be Rosberg indicating he sees Hamilton there and isn't going to chop across Then again, that after race (almost hammy) acting about Hamilton's luck, makes me think it was exactly how it looks hahaha
