Been reading the Autosport forum, and there's a lot of confusion as to what's going to happen. Some sources are saying that it's a safety car restart with original grid order, some are saying grid start with current positions. EDIT: The Red flag always counts back a lap, so really it should be original positions
F1 live timing says it is restarted under safety car and in the current order. Also Chilton under investigation
one wonders if Lewis had had a bad start rather than a good one if the rules would be followed rather than ignored for 'the good of the show'
At the end of the day I think the fair thing is to keep positions gained/lost at the start as that makes the start very bit of crucial as it should have been.
Well the rules do normally mean that they count back a lap (Think of Brazil 2003), but for some reason they haven't this time.
