So disappointed by the result for Rosberg but I'm sure he won't give up. Alonso and Vettel were amazing today.
I worked on the Costa del sol for about 10 years, dealing with all nationalities of all ages, and all the british pensioners seemed to do was whine about Germans and black immigrants almost non-****ing-stop, that's because most of your generation are a bunch of nationalistic racists bought up on WW2 propagnada and Enoch Powells 'rivers of blood'. And yes, I include many members of my own family in that. The world should have moved on, but it won't get that chance until your generation is 6ft under, you're on par with the Australians for narrow minded bigotry.
I really can't be arsed entering any of the usual post Hamilton win babble that takes place, but come on... at least keep it civil!
Get rid of Han shot first and his constant whining about Hamilton which makes this forum complete trash and maybe people will stop being strangers!
Didn't get to watch the race. Bittersweet to see that Jenson had a great race only to fall just short of the long overdue home podium. If nothing else it probably helps his chances of getting another go next year. Hamilton got lucky today, but probably deserves it after bad luck in Aus and Montreal. Regardless the title battle needed it.
yeh, there was nothing in the break-down, but I'm still mystified over the restart, race was stopped on 1.48 so I can't see how they managed to do over a lap when half of it was behind a safety car and it was a standing start, a qualifying lap on low fuel and a run down the first straight takes 1.36, it doesn't add up, it should have been a restart with original grid positions as per the rules, smacks of arbitrarily applied rules to please a partisan crowd. I also fail to see why neither Alonso or Vettel were penalised for their various transgressions, both should've been penalised, but it seemed that once they'd given Alonso the black/white flag they deemed that enough, despite he and Vettel continually flaunting the track limits. All I can hear is Bernie saying 'it's for the good of the show'. Although penalising them could possibly have denied us that gret battle, rules are rules, it's a sporting event, not an entertainment spectacle.
Small point about Vettel, whilst its easy to suggest RBR screwed up his strategy, he has to put blame on himself for his poor start. I don't imagine RBR's original strategy involved him being behind both the McLarens after the first lap.
They both gained an advantage over the rest of the field, and who is to say that Magnussen, who was barely three seconds behind, wouldn't have been in the DRS zone if they hadn't continually transgressed the white lines. The rules are the rules and shouldn't be applied arbitrarily simply to provide a better specatcle, they should be enforced, just as they were for Hamilton in Austria. aye, a terrible start, I thought he'd gotten away with it when they red flagged the race, but once again today some loose application of the rules came into play
Fellow Hamilgeables (merge of the words Hamilton and F1Knowaldgeable) The Official F1® App http://www.formula1.com/app/ Available in Lite and Premium editions for iOS and Android. I highly recommend it to everyone. Massive amount of information and data.
The world will never move on as you put it, simply because of people with your attitude, I am not racist, colour prejudiced, or hold extreme views unlike yourself, you are the epitome of whats wrong with the world today and why the human race will never coexist. Proven by the offensive rant above.
i already made a load in the topic dedicated to that, unfortunately that topic got derailed by those who just like the current results so don't want any changes to be made.
Don't give up that easily. Let's hear it. Re-post the post that was derailed. I am all ears. I am always interested in people that have genuine views and suggestions.
Have GP2 and GP3 on track with the F1 cars at the same time. That's a reason why Endurance racing is better, because of the multiple classes. Have F1 do the same thing, and it'll be awesome.
