He speaks 5 languages you know Not sure it's ever been mentioned before, it's kept very quiet... Anyway, must be useful for him in all the various hair salons around the world.
Apparently he's fluent in effing and jeffing too. Edit Looks like he was jeffing at Piquet. Good on ya Rosberg! The guy is a massive bell pepper!
It's nearly over and i'm nearly over it lad. If the whole season wasn't manufactured enough with the engine freeze and illegal tyre test, we have had Simon Lazenby sat in the Mercedes garage as a full time employee/rentboy. And Crofty taking back handers for his brown nosing for 120mins. Mercedes have been gifted by the very regulation changes that knocked RBR off the top. Not by the driver change you refer to with rose tinted glasses (eg. 2013). Yes Michael had a tough time but being over double the age of some drivers on the grid, or being away for 4 years didn't make things easy and neither did having an outstanding younger teammate. Also of all people should know how bad luck hampers a driver (eg. 2012 MSC 2014 HAM). Sadly the very same cynical people back then, are now also ready to lay blame to luck without hesitation. Nico vs. Lewis has been a cartoon. Dumbed down and advertised as a weak movie of some sorts to attract the thick general public as seen on Twitter, with a catalyst subplot of (the sneaky ol German vs our lad Lewis). It sickens me... Why watch? I just want to see who wins the plastic trophy for what has been F1's most plastic season and part of it's downfall. Night.
I think Lewis won a plastic trophy earlier this season. The British GP I think it was. A bit of it fell off and everything. On a more serious note, not sure why the bitterness. Your driver was the most successful in the history of the sport. Some people are never happy.
In other news, the best thing about watching NASCAR, other than the race lasting anywhere from 4 days to 3 months, is that the tool of choice in the pitlane is the sledgehammer.
Close to 30 years watching this sport, and all but 3 maybe 4 seasons have been mostly disappointment. I'm fully expecting this one to be no different. It's easier to accept when you're used to it.
I'm not sure. I think I spent most of the race waiting for Hamilton to explode or be abducted aliens or something.
It kept interest right until the end. Will Rosberg crack, can Lewis hunt him down again? In the end, Lewis was the one who pushed too hard and made the mistake that could have cost him the win. Was not a guarantee he would have got a ahead, but the spin made sure that he would stay behind. Nice little sub-plot at Ferrari with them refusing to tell Kimi to move over and you have to feel for Bottas losing 4th in the WDC because of his seatbelts coming loose. Not seen that happen for a long time, though well done to Massa (although it did make for a farcical podium interview with Piquet more interested in Hamilton's gf than anything that happened in the race, though typical of the person that Piquet is).
I'm not sure either. It wasn't bad but it lacked the overtaking thrills of Austin last week so, for me, it wasn't really that great. Now, I'm just hoping Abu Dhabi doesn't descend into farce: the sport should come first.
Two reasons why Nico may swore on the podium yesterday, Nelson Piquet Snr's weird interview or that Hamilton left his trophy there. But very odd indeed.
Hamilton did get a ridiculous question from Piquet. I would have been pissed off with that. You have a problem with Hamilton. I'm sure you can find someone to talk to.
Nope, I said I found the whole thing odd. Swearing at someone because he left his trophy would be a bit weird. I am simply trying to fathom what Nico was trying to say.
