please log in to view this image Williams appear to have settled on a low downforce setup as expected, as have Mclaren. Alonso by contrast is stronger in the second sector so we can infer a lot of downforce on his car, interesting contrast of approaches.
I think Chilton has become even more unpopular than he already was because of this situation, also it might just be me but I get the impression that Marussia seem angry towards Chilton because of the embarrassment that he has inflicted the team. Now whilst I don't rate Rossi, I do think it was harsh on him that he was told he is racing only then to be told a day later that he's not.
We wouldn't have these problems if the teams actually got a fair share of the wealth. They'd actually be able to afford some good drivers. Not going to happen while Baron Bribealot is still at the helm.
I suspect they'll use his first initial, MVS or something. I'm sure you can think of a certain famous driver where they used his first initial. Just a shame they didn't use it for Rossi in FP1 rather than RSI really.
Looking at the timing it seems like Vergne isn't even trying anymore. Normally right up Kyvat's chuffer. Who infact is looking very fast. Massa has impressed me today. I question Maldonado's and Ericsson's presence here.
Haha hahaha hahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha no. (Even if he DID finish a record number of consecutive races for a rookie season )
Found the Caterham swap odd, but Lotterer's a pretty useful driver, so he should do alright. That Marussia debacle was funny though, guessing Max's check bounced at first, so they got Rossi in. Hoping for a Hamilton win, keep this fight going on.

Lotterer reckons the Caterham is more difficult (and slower?) to corner than his LMP car. http://www1.skysports.com/f1/news/1...-audi-can-corner-quicker-than-caterham-f1-car
Current weather forecasts saying serious rain is unlikely, showers at worst. Could still mess up qualifying, of course.
