Rushing to judgement on a particular incident might be convenient, according to your desired wishes, but maybe not realistic. Sometimes events can not be judged as we see them live and have to be reviewed afterwards. Lewis Hamilton on his first run in Q3 went wide on T8 and like many others had that lap time deleted. A clear driver error. On his final run something happened. Looking at the footage I doubt very much if he made an error. I think that something failed at the back of his car.
A Mercedes driver going off on his final run in Q3, requiring his team mate to slow through yellow flags. Lewis' comment: "It definitely wasn't deliberate"...
I know Merc messed up but 1.08 lap times from Williams is sensational for anyone from the chasing pack!
Looks like he braked on a bump or something, only way to explain the car suddenly losing control. He said himself it was driver error. Also, i give it 4 laps until Hamilton is in 2nd place tomorrow.
Fabulous for Williams and Massa!!! I can't even begin to express how happy I am to see Williams back up front, even if Merc ballsed it up.
Only just got to watch Qualifying... And it's the first time in a very long time that I've been this pleased after a qualifying session. Fanbloodytastic!!! I'm made up for Williams! They're the last of what truly makes a F1 team for me. I hope one of them can take the win!
Wishfull thinking but I hope Massa and Bottas can hold position today. Also does anyone know if Lauda races his car on Sky today?
Come on Williams, I fear they'll burn their tyres but lets see. Ideal situation is they hold Rosberg up and Hamilton is able to catch so we end up with a four way fight for the lead with a good Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren, FI, STR battle behind
Strong yet sensible start from Hamilton. Williams did well to hold it there. and oh my god Vettel. How and what are you doing wrong in life to have that much bad luck
Another problem for Vettel. About 50 points at least he has lose dual to mechanical problems so far this season.
