Talking about putting Lewis under pressure to make a title deciding mistake, I have to wonder, has Nico let Lewis take 1st at the corner to put said pressure on him. He knows if Lewis just follows him home he'll win the title, he has to put Lewis under pressure and the best way to do that is to be behind him.
Interesting thought, but Hamilton knows he doesn't have to win. Rosberg has to finish ahead, so pressure really is on him.
Not sure how giving someone the lead puts them under pressure. I think he just got a bad start. If anything Rosberg would want to be ahead and back Hamilton in to Massa.
Exactly but if Nico wins and Lewis comes second it's out of Nico's hands. If Nico follows Lewis home for a 2nd he's not really lost anything but by being behind him he can put pressure on him and hope he makes a big error. I probably am reading to much into it, I'm a massive Lewis fan just hoping Lewis keeps his head and brings it home. 1st, 2nd. Don't care, just bring it home ahead of Nico or 1 behind him.
Rosberg's best chance was to be ahead nd keep the gap to the pack small, so any slight problem, mistake, pit stop error etc would push Hamilton down the order. If Rosberg does close, I wonder how hard Hamilton will defend the position.
If ever you needed proof of how terrible the Ferrari engine is, Stevens' Caterham just managed to outdrive it in a straight line.
