Thanks, Silver. It was almost literally a toss up for my podium bet between Button and Alonso. In the end, I went for Button simply because of the odds; but I knew Alonso was more realistic. Then again, it's slightly ironic that Button stole fastest lap at the 11th hour from Alonso, don't you think?

I was thinking along the same lines, Silver – except I'd have whacked out more like £180 over three bets, depending upon odds! What a disappointment it is that the person running this bit of fun seems to have lost all enthusiasm after losing his money…
I think it's only fair that if we can provide a link, we can use any site. I think i'd have put a tenner on Hamilton win as I had it in my gut all week it'll happen and he was on about 4/1 the other day.
I completely agree. I was previously in a forum which did precisely this, although it required any bet to be chosen from a list of the most popular 20 sites (or so), available to punters in the UK. I suggested this at the time, but I believe it was never considered by the person who wanted to run this.
