I kind of, I just had a scout of some players and decided to make some space for Chris Eagles who got 9 last week I also have Watson from Wigan as he takes all the pens and Wigan's whole side consist of players who go to ground too easily. So meh.
Took Kalou out & put Eagles in, freed up enough money to swap Suarez for Aguero Rooney, RVP & Aguero up front for me now.
Had Pratley from Bolton, was scoring goals for fun in pre-season, then he sat on the bench at the weekend.
I've got Walters from Stoke in my midfield, he actually plays upfront for Stoke and scored plenty last season. I've also got Sinclair in my midfield as they're playing Wigan at home, so should get some goals/assists. Also picked Hoolahan in midfield because if Norwich play well, which they should in their first home game back in the PL, then Hoolahan will be at the heart of everything good they do. I've also got Danny Graham upfront as he should, get some goals vs Wigan. I've actually got the Swansea keeper in my goal aswell, and I've put Suarez and Reina on the bench in favour of Vorm and Graham Hope it pays off.
Nope, I have Enrique, Kompany, Richards, Bosingwa and Simpson as backup. In midfield I have Nani, Brunt and Jarvis. Unless midfielders get a goal or an assist they don't usually get many points so I concentrated on the big 3 up front and defenders who play for teams likely to get clean sheets.
Tommorow is the last day of the free transfers! If you can do it all today at least make some early changes and if you can log in tommorow then you can tweak. Don't risk it 'til the last minute.
Who to have as captain is my problem. Do I go for Aguero and hope last week wasn't a one off? Do go for Baines and hope that Everton give QPR a hiding and he gets on the score sheet? Third choice would be to take a risk on Zamora getting a couple against Wolves.
I'd go with Aguero. Last week he was great and its not really a question of quality with him, he is brilliant (From a Liverpool fan)
Agreed, he is class, but they're playing Bolton... I'd go for zamora, seems to do well against weak opposition.
I've finally managed to get my team so that i have exactly 0m left I'm now gonna keep it the same for the whole season! (or rather until one of the players has a ****e week (i'm looking at Klasnic here)
I'm not. I've got Suarez, Aguero and Carroll aswell as David Silva and Charles N'Zogbia behind them in midfield. I've decided to bench Cahill this week as my other defenders (Shawcross and Hughes) are playing games where they are more likely to get a clean sheet. Not to mention my eye for a goalie. People spending £7m on Hart and millions on De Gea are just looking for the players with big names/most points (Hart, last season). I got Shay Given for just £5m and he got the usual rate for a goalie, managed to get one of the highest points for a goalie too last week. My sub-goalie is a regular for Norwich (I think) and I've given some good thought to this for weeks now. The big names mixed with the underdogs of the Premier League should come out on top
