Yep, the second movement is standing out to me too. Feel like slapping myself for taking so long to get it really, I've worshipped his 3 string quartets for a long time but besides a copy of the first movement a friend sent me, I'd never gave this the time of day. You have any more of his stuff?

Yeah haha, I used to keep a list in a notepad but it ended up eating into several pages and became a huge mess. If you do ever get round to it, I'd be recommending his 2nd and 3rd string quartets anyway.

The first movement of the 3rd symphony has a seriously Vaughan Williams quality to it I think. It's sort of like the depressed brother of Vaughan Williams' 5th:

I will listen to them when get time . Yeah used to write stuff down as well but it got too disorganised so I try and bookmark everything on my computer now.

2.cheers don't know what album it's off as i had them on shuffle and it reminded me of violator by DM which led to the DM posts

I think with all the scandals etc. people seem to forget that Doherty and co have actually written some great songs, in my opinion one of the best guitar bands of the past decade.
