Gary Neville has such a punchable face and even voice. Everything about him needs to be punched in the face.

But they'll probably go on about how the likes of Utd and City lost it rather than giving us credit

1932: Not at all, sir. I've been genuinely impressed by Newcastle this season and they fully deserve to be where they are. But even the most ardent Newcastle fan has to admit this is a tough match. Arguably, due to a number of factors, this is their toughest test so far.
    --------------------------------------
I though a Tottenham team on a winning streak was meant to be our toughest test...

I didn't know the Stoke - Newcastle game preview on Sky consisted of analysis of the Chelsea - Arsenal game yesterday. For ****'s sake...

I'm worried about Cabaye and his lack of strength. I only saw the highlights of the CC game but did anyone see when he fell over trying to tackle a player?

I've seen Cabaye pull of Tiote-like tackles before too, I wouldn't say he has a lack of strength really.

He did at least acknowledge we'd played them though, you listen to some pundits and you'd assume we'd thus far faced QPR, Norwich and Wigan 3 times each!

Oh my word , 15 minutes to go and the pundits haven't even discussed our game today. Just a short interview with Pardew. Just talked about Everton - Man United and Chelsea - Arsenal.

I don't think the Sanchin0 magic works, until he does it on the Match day thread. He did the same thing against Blackburn, one day before :'(

It isn't too bad if Tiote is out. He has a tendency to foul, as we all know, so with him out, perhaps Stoke won't get as many threatening set pieces. I'm sure they've scored 71% of their goals from set plays this season, so it's a huge part of their attack. We limit those and we limit Stoke severely.

The lineup looks good. Obertan's pace should give us something in this game more than we've seen in any other. Also, thank **** Saylor is playing. We really need him. The subs bench looks great too. Usually we have like 3 strikers for some reason, but now we have Sameobi with Ben Arfa and Marveaux waiting to do the business (I suspect we'll see Ben Arfa as an AM in place of Ba or Best well before we see Sammy make an appearance).

We can win this one, or we can get a draw at least. It depends ENTIRELY how we play. If we turn up, we'll get something. If we don't, we'll lose. The ball is on our court with this one.

"United skipper Steven Taylor certainly agrees with this view. (Times link - subscription required)."
