    I think our penalty was more of a pen than there's tbh.

    Crouch went down like a puff, Best didn't go down but he was pushed in the back by the defender which caused him to bend forward.

    Mike Dean has been chosen to referee Newcastle's next Barclays Premier League game, away to Stoke City next Monday.

    Last season, United enjoyed the Wirral-based official's company as they won three of the four matches he took charge of.

    He was the man in the middle when the Magpies won 1-0 at Arsenal and recorded home wins against West Ham (5-0) and Wolves (4-1).

    Dean was also the referee when United lost 3-1 at West Brom, however.

    old article but you get the drift so that's 5 matches and 4 wins in 2 seasons
