Tiote played well if you ask me Jonas, Obertan were the issue.

exactly Jonas has been tired for weeks but to be honest our tactics were more to blame than any individual.

Yeah I even noticed he'll close his man down then take 2 steps backwards... For God sake can't he just stick a leg in !!! Doesn't matter if he doesn't get the ball but just show some aggressiveness !!!

Cabaye put in a good defensive performance, but yet again we bypassed our centre midfield when attacking.

Actually thought we looked ok today in parts but defensive lapses let us down and we didn't offer enough going forward. Tiote looked back to his best, Williamson and Colo look solid together, Cabaye put a decent shift in and Ba did well feeding of scraps we also looked decent in possession. Negatives Simpson was **** at fault for the last two goals and Obertan did bot all (Jonas was little better).

Also the furious ****ing over Gerrard before he even came on was cringe worthy though.

Well at least we only paid 3 million for a guy who just stands there than the 35 million Liverpool paid

The amount of time Santon cut inside on his right foot shows what side of the pitch he belongs.

Some of the negativity is making me sick. If we had a right-back on the pitch instead of that excuse-for-a-footballer Danny Simpson, we would not have lost that game. Very happy with our performance.

I recognise that everyone barring maybe Collo, Ba and the CM's were dire today, it's just that we usually see a bit of fight out of most players. Obertan just hides, week in, week out. I prefer Perch, at least he is commited and gives 100%.

With Gerrard back whipping in similar balls to Barton, I can see Carroll scoring a fair few. Unfortunately.

I think that our real problem at the moment is that we lack movement and passing in the team. We like to make our attacking players defend but we rarely use our defensive players to attack. How many times during matches have our defenders played the long ball or the back pass to Krul who can't f*cking pick up a player's head ??? And how many times do we break forward in a counter and end up back passing???? In my opinion the worst players were Jonas, Obertan and Vuckic. The latter was losing the ball a lot and was always backpassing even when there was someone well placed ...

The free kick decision was a bad one, but I'm not going to dwell on it as imo we deserved to lose. Our right hand side is a liability at the moment, get Hoilett & Cissokho in Jan and after the ACON play this:

    Krul
    Santon - Willimason - Coloccini - Cissokho
    Tiote - Cabaye
Gutierrez - Ben Arfa - Hoilett
    Ba

It all seems so simple when you put it like that.

Vuckic was poor today but I still rate him highly. He, like Sammy, is far too raw and needs a loan to a lower level. Just shows our lack of strength in depth.
