Who is the finished product? Premier league proven, Trophy winner, league winner, awesome in the market, great man manager, awesome tactician? Is there anyone out there who is the finished product? Mourinho perhaps? Ancelotti? Funnily enough I cant seem them leaving their current clubs to join us
lol yeh. If this season continues to be pants. Hes the guy I would want for sure at the end of the season. He turned this club around, and not just on the pitch but at development level too. When KK left Rafa was my choice to come in, but BR is the manager and he deserves the season to show what he can do.
I'm pretty sure i mentioned him being more than just just an aerial threat. But that's exactly what we bought him for. He's a target man and he did his job. I'm sure you'd be wetting your pants if it was a Mandzukic. Talking about Mandzukic, you've seen the chap play? these types can be a bit frustrating as they are not the quickest. But they're important against physical sides and when you're desperate to grind out results. Ofcourse it's an almighty step down from the SAS. But he's good player and a very good option to have.
Good game. Sound decisions by Rodgers. Kudos to him. It nearly didn't come off, as the attack was too dependent on Lambert. Allen and Lucas sharing DM duties was a good idea, as was pushing Henderson forward. Although quite disappointed that this encouragement still didn't inspire Hendo to get into the danger zones more often.
We Won! (Been out all day) Can't remember the last time I was able to say that. Can't comment on the performance, will have to wait for MOTD. Only downside, Johnson scored so that means he'll be in the team for the rest of the season
Glad to see someone posting sense on the thread and not whining about weird things like Lambert being MOTM and us winning.
Jeez couldn't you be anymore condescending. Does it even prove a point? Suarez was sweeping streets for pocket money.
The three behind Lambert mustered no shots on target and a mere one each wayward. Sterling has got to shoot more cutting in from the left. Coutinho too.
Should I point out that the last few weeks have seen certain posters on here claiming we are "hiding" due to results but today, the activity remains fairly low compared to normal despite winning and those 'certain posters' are nowhere to be seen
Don't worry, a couple of Mancs came on to whinge that I am now too active. After making a single post. With no text. An hour after the game finished. No sign of the #bitters though...
