Bit more control in the middle. allow Gerrard to push on a little bit more.

Plus Coutinho was having a bad gam (along with Suarez/Sturridge/Sterling).

Indeed. To win the league you've to win matches like this. It's that simple.

Sturridge just hasn't got his shooting boots on today.

But Gerrard isn't pushing on, he's sitting back and Lucas is further forward where he's useless.

We just have far less creativity up the pitch now

Coutinho would create more than Sterling.

It seems no one is on the same page today. We look lethargic and more interested in the easier option than putting the work in and ****ing running with the ball.

We haven't got all match to score so the team needs to get a grip and their heads back in it.

I'm just throwing suggestion out there. Coutinho wasn't having a good game, but from our whole bench, who would you bring on to make a difference attacking wise? That's why I was surprised that both Coutinho & Sterling started, means we have no one to come off the bench.

Yep you can't afford to drop points today, as you hand City a cusion. It will mean they can afford to lose at Anfield

    Good pen Stevie <ok>

Well, that's evened it out now. Don't feel guilty from it due to the 1st half error. Plu the fact it wasn't a dive, Flanagan didn't appeal for it.

Yet another penalty. Gerrard will be challenging Suarez for the golden boot with all these penalties
