Anyone notice how far up Lucas is going? It seems like Gerrard is doing his role dropping in between the centre backs while Lucas is doing the box to box role Gerrard usually does. Intersting to see how it works out over 90 minutes.

Lucas played AM in Brazil. Gerrard started out as a youth as CB and then DM before becoming a more attacking player so both are positions they should have familiarity with. As Gerrard ages this may be his position.
I like how we're keeping Sterling up at corner to give us that quick outlet and keep a couple more Stoke players back.

How's that not a penalty then? Being punched in the head isn't a foul these days? Never understood how keepers get away with not making contact with the ball but hitting the player yet a defender does that and it's a penalty. Clear corner not given to us then
