    Arses.

Is this a bit of reverse psychology or have you got up too early again?

Man, I hope. It would make my day nearly as much as a win would. People forget that we went out onto the pitch with that kind of blistering zest throughout Dec up to mid Jan. Brendan has showed (huge kudos to him) that are physically capable to do that.

I hate these 5.30 kick offs. As 3.00 approaches I automatically start getting excited then remember we are playing later after all the rest.

Maybe it's an age thing as I watched most of my football when every match kicked off at 3.00 on a Saturday and the matches were a big event because of that. Now it's drip feed football constantly and it seems to have lost some of the aura that used to surround a Saturday afternoon.

How is the Sturridge work rate off the ball? Chelsea are the one side to take us to the cleaners at home this season and that's because Torres, Schurrle and Hazard closed us down from the off and never gave our back 4 or midfield space on the ball. They also gave no space to Lallana as he dropped deep. Then they brought on Oscar and Willian to finish us off.
The majority of teams have come here and backed off a little and allowed us to dominate possession and look for a counter. Villa were successful with this tactic although they got three goals from three attempts. If you play this way and it becomes a bit of a shoot out then I fancy your chances especially as we've been pretty woeful in front of goal recently.

Looking forward to the game, our match with Arsenal recently was a real delight and the pressure is off our lads with mid-table secured.

Here is two an entertaining goal fest and may the best team win

    Ah dammit :emoticon-0107-sweat

I guess that Suarez never give up attitude has rubbed off on the others....I head to the stadium with hope. Not playing at 3pm is a pain, but I enjoy football under floodlights

I agree with it, expected Coutinho to make way but we definitely needed an extra presence in the middle of the park.
