No idea, it's another and undeserved chance for Sterling lets hope he makes the most of it. Allen in a similar position he needs to have a good performance.
Baffled yet against by this team selection. We have two home games in a row so surely resting players isn't necessary? Why isn't Sahko getting a look in? Why is Sterling consistently playing? Why is Skrtel now first choice?
Allen, Gerrard and Henderson fills me with little confidence. Unless Hendo is asked to play CDM then we could get overrun.
Just don't get why Aspas, Alberto, Sakho are not in. If they are on the bench then they should be fit and with Alberto, I would really like to see what he can do. I really hope we get a nice lead and he is able to come on for more than 10.
If we win then it gives squad players confidence some of the fringe players need to play as we are going to need them throughout the season. We should be capable of winning this with that team. If we lose then I'm talking bollox.
Not just Sterling, what about Ibe? Did Kelly go down again as he doesn't even make the bench? Hmmm. I hope the players selected maybe have known and were prepared well for the game and ready to rumble.

Norwich fan in peace I expect another thrashing from you guys tonight, our 'manager' (I use the term loosely), is totally tactically inept IMO (and many others), especially away from home. Our line up suggests 11 men behind the ball AGAIN and all that will do is invite wave after wave of attack from Liverpool, 5-0 at least to you boys tonight. Hughton Out !

Lucas has hardly been awesome this year. Been a regular so probably needs a rest but he's not immune to being dropped. I don't see anything wrong with playing Allen, deserves a few games now he's fit to show what he can do
I don't get why we would spend almost 15 million on a cb and not ****ing play him.. It's not like he's even been poor. The **** is with his selection. Keeps giving his bumboy and Sterling chance after chance, and Alberto is yet to make a start. Anything other than 3 points would be disastrous, Rodgesr better know what the **** he's doing after the HULL humiliation.
Maybe because we played Sunday & today. The team on Sunday hardly covered themselves in glory so no one can complain about being dropped from tht team. Wouldn't say Sterling is "constantly playing". He's played in the last game in which he was **** but then so was everyone else, we can't change all 11?! And no idea about Skrtel, after scoring 2 OG's and being **** should be dropped
Wouldn't worry, Johnson and Sterling will run straight at your 11 men then give you the ball, our Midfield will somehow be ahead of them and everyone but our goal keeper will watch as you counter attack. I hope you're right of course......
Prepare for 86 minutes of us attacking and failing to break down your 11 men only for you to win a corner/free kick and score from it
It was a bit of HULLmiliation. I'll get my coat. It sounds like with many of the new players from other leagues, he is giving them all some 6 month bedding in time. I still think we should be doing everything to have our defense revolve around Sakho right now. Let's see how it goes, if ever a team we should feel confident against it is Norwich. Which means we will probably draw now!
