Yeah mate that £27.5m he gave us for Fellaini was daylight robbery..... Seen the league table lately btw?
Liverpool will be hoping a return to Anfield will reignite their Premier League title hopes when Norwich City visit to face their nemesis Luis Suarez. Brendan Rodgers' side have slipped seven points off the pace being set by Arsenal after winning just one of their last four games - a 4-0 home thrashing of Fulham. However, the other three matches all came away and, after losing at Arsenal and drawing with Everton, Liverpool were humbled 3-1 by Hull City on Sunday. On familiar ground, though, Liverpool have won five of their six games at home, with the only blip being a 1-0 reverse against Southampton. The Reds boast an impressive record against Norwich after winning seven of the last eight meetings and scored five goals home and away against Chris Hughton's side last season. Suarez is also the man to watch in this fixture as the Uruguay striker has scored seven goals in four appearances against the Canaries. Norwich head to Merseyside on the back of a morale-boosting home win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, but they have lost five of their six away games. Hughton's side also have the worst defensive record on their travels in the top flight after conceding 16 goals, which includes a 7-0 demolition by Manchester City. Paul Merson's prediction Liverpool will be hurting because I thought they were shocking on Sunday, absolutely shocking. Without being horrible, with Daniel Sturridge injured, if you take Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard out of that side, it's a middle-of-the-table team. You look at it and think Victor Moses, Raheem Sterling... what team would they get in in the top half? That's not good enough. I found it strange on Sunday - Brendan Rodgers was chasing the game but he took off Moses and brought on another forward in Luis Alberto - but why doesn't he take off Lucas, a holding midfield player? It was a shocking result but they didn't deserve anything out of it and Suarez had probably his quietest game of the season. They have to bounce back and win this game and I'd expect them to do that. They'll definitely miss Sturridge, but I'll go 3-1 Liverpool. PAUL PREDICTS: 3-1 Liverpool Badge Liverpool Last 6 Hull City (a) 3-1 Everton (a) 3-3 Fulham (h) 4-0 Arsenal (a) 2-0 West Brom (h) 4-1 Newcastle (a) 2-2 Playmaker Philippe Coutinho is set to return to the starting line-up against Norwich after only being fit enough for a place on the bench for Sunday's defeat at Hull. After conceding three goals for the second successive game, Rodgers is likely to change his defence with Kolo Toure the man who could make way for Daniel Agger, who was dropped at the KC Stadium. Forward Iago Aspas was an unused substitute at Hull after returning to the squad after injury but, after disappointing performances from Victor Moses and Raheem Sterling, he may get a chance with striker Daniel Sturridge out until next month. Norwich Badge Norwich Last 6 C Palace (h) 1-0 Newcastle (a) 2-1 West Ham (h) 3-1 Man City (a) 7-0 Man Utd (a) 4-0 Cardiff (h) 0-0 Norwich boss Hughton has no fresh injury concerns for his side's trip to Merseyside following the weekend win over Crystal Palace. Hughton is set to be without midfielders Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) and Robert Snodgrass (knee), while club-record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel (toe) has targeted the Swansea game on December 15 for his return. Elliott Bennett (knee), goalkeeper Mark Bunn and midfielder Alexander Tettey (both ankle) are all still sidelined.
Seriously tobes, why the **** are you always on our board? I never see you having sensible discussions with posters, just jibes against LFC
I hope the old "law of averages" doesn't pop up. We should be thumping Norwich, doubt Suarez will get another hat-trick ( would be nice if he did though!) and actually wouldn't mind seeing Coutinho score, Aspas if he plays score, LA if he plays get on the assists or goals. Time for some other players to be counted for. I have a feeling Hendo will do well today? Not sure why, a gut feeling.
I think tbf on this occassion MITO poked Toby first but Sun night Tobes prodding stick was out in full force
I have plenty of sensible convo's with many posters on this board, so try reading the ****er properly & pipe down.
On the flip side. CLEAN SHEET PLEASE! Just pick a back four and stick with it, make sure it revolves around Sakho though.
Mate your the one that needs to pipe down, every thread is full of your ****ing posts and rarely do you have a good word to say. Just my opinion.
Anyway, as for the game, I can't see anything but a win for us. We need a result, we're at home, and it's Norwich. We'll produce the goods.
