Interesting, dont think hes got the pace to beat ppl though.... He could hold it up though and let others join in Him and henderson took it in turns to push up to be the no 10 yesterday didnt they?
Which is why I want to see Allen in between them. I dint think Henderson has the game awareness or discipline yet for the role being asked of him. Lets take the options that confuse him away. Use the energy in from of Lucas but not so far up he has to worry about positioning in the case of counter attacks. Gerrard is under no pressure to get back while both Aspas & Suarez can put high pressure on the ball and Harry back to midfield where Hendo and Lucas are awaiting. All three forwards can drop deep to collect at any time. Gerrard can drift right to receive and whip in the crosses at times. Allen can recycle what they collect.
Cant find a profile for him on our official site? Found this though Yeşil's first game for Liverpool was in an Under 21's match against Chelsea U21's, with the Reds winning 4-1. Yeşil shortly after got his first call-up to the senior squad after being announced as a part of the squad that would play against BSC Young Boys of Switzerland. He was named as a substitute and was unused. On 26 September Yesil made his senior debut in the Football League Cup game against West Bromwich Albion.[4] He also appeared in the fourth round tie against Swansea City, Liverpool succumbing to a 3-1 defeat. On 7 December 2012 after coming back from injury, Yeşil scored his first goal in a Liverpool shirt with a half-volley lob over the goalkeeper to put Liverpool 3-1 up in a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace at The Academy in the u21's Professional Development League, after coming off the bench as a substitute. In February, after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament on international duty with Germany U-19 team he was sidelined for rest of the season.[5] On 7 October 2013, Yeşil made his comeback as a substitute in a 5-0 win against Tottenham in the U21 Premier League. 2012–2013 Germany U19 7 apps (8) goals No record for us this season?
There's a piece about the physio s on the club site that talks about the spurs u21 match being first minutes he's played since the ACL injury. That would suggest he's no where near ready fir the first team.
Yeah, s back to square 1 Its not like any (the only 1) am's can fill in, wingers? Nope I wouldnt be confident of Moses up there Gerrard would be good to see how it worked but cant see BR doing it Its going to be Aspas isnt it? Who again is very lightweight
Get back on the F1 forum and pray Vettel has a dog of a car in 2014 That's exactly what the Hull fans were saying... right now, we're letting in goals for fun, midfield is being over-run and we've lost one half of the SAS, could be the right time to play us too..
Could be perfect for Aspas to come back, grab a goal in this game and 'start again' as it were. He looked lively in pre-season - just needs a goal to boost his confidence I think, certainly don't think he's a lost cause.
No neither do I, he does look very lightweight though and we need someone who will hold it up and let others join
Time to stick to a CB pair though - Skrtel is likely to leave in January and Toure was only ever back up. Therefore, persist with Sakho and Agger. Our fullbacks are always injured so changing the CB pairing every week isn't helping. And If Coutinho is injured, use Luis Alberto as the number 10. He's obviously very young and not as good but he's a natural fit for that role which means we don't need to change too much.
True, if Coutinho isn't ready to start then Gerrard must be playing number 10 for me. If Moses goes in there I'll be ****ed off - not only has he proved he is no good at it in previous games but for me he should be dropped purely for trying to chip the ball over someones head and run on to it in your own half it's not ****ing under 14's you prick!
--------------Migs-------- Toure---Sakho---Agger---Cissokho --------------Lucas-------------- -------Gerrard--------LA------- ---------------Cout------------- ----------Aspas------Suarez----- ****ing dominate the midfield battle and encourage ( which they already do) the width provided by the full backs.
Didnt Carra mention something about that he doesnt get picked as he messes about with it too much in our half When he did that and obv lost possession they bloody scored from it!
To be fair, the decision making is poor throughout the whole team - that includes Suarez. Coutinho is the only player who consistently makes the right decisions and executes them. More intelligence all over the park is required.
Agree with you defence comments I'd like to see more of Alberto but I'd like to see Gerrard behing the striker if Couts out He was up there a bit yesterday but was then ddropping back, as he not got the enegry to do the job for the full 90?
