Thank God there is only 3 games to go as my health wasn't great at the start of the season and watching us is certainly ain't making it better !!
we did well considering the ref was doing his best to feck us up as well, how they didn't have at least 1 (should have been 2) player sent off **** knows.
That was scarey. At work next week so will miss Chelsea game but after the last two weeks can't take much more. Noticeable the amount of free kicks we gave away with Lucas in the team. He was pretty poor and we had very little pressing without Henderson. Thought skrtel held us together at the back. Johnson was his usual **** lazy self and sakho looked very nervous. Might think about Agger back in next week? Ming just gives me the jitters with ball at his feet. Excellent from sterling though...nobody better in the league at the moment.
Three points and all that, but if we play that **** against Chavs and Palace, we are not winning the league. We needed Carra on the pitch today, Gerrards "leading by example" is useless if he is not setting an example. We needed someone giving them the hair dryer, since Rodgers obviously did **** all at half time. I actually feel like we lost. I'm in a bad mood, fuming at the team, picking faults in players, and generally pissed at the world, yet we won and went 5 points clear. Crazy, all would be well if we made even the slightest effort today. I can't even bring myself to watch Rodgers post match, as I know it will be annoying ****e about how he was watching a totally different game where we showed all sorts of character and made up bollox like that.
For all you youngsters. This is what it's like at the end of the season when your going for the title. The ONLY thing that matters is the result - performances mean nothing. It's not going to get any better until we've won the bloody thing. We made hard work of that. For the life of us I can't understand why we knock it about at the back enticing forwards to press us. Why don't we let the midfield knock it about 10 yards inside their half? But 1 down three to go and 5 points clear!!!!!

It's the old saying that at this time of the season the result means more than the performance. It was a tough game today. We badly missed hendo and studge but to say they weren't trying is nonsense and an insult to the players who have gotten us into this wonderful position. Of course BR is going to praise his players. We've just won 11 on the trot, we've scored 95 (?) goals ,lost just 5 games all season. City and chavs dropped points this week, we didn't. WE ARE 5 POINTS CLEAR FFS!
good result against a team that is fighting for their lives to stay in the premier league. sterling was immaculate throughout, he fully deserved his goals. also does suarez have some magical power that allows him to heal a broken leg in less than a few seconds?
Being a 25 year old this is a new experience for me. Watching us fight for the title with it all in our hands and 3 games to go. Nerve racking. Exciting.
