prefer shergars prediction of 4-0 to arsenal and they may as well not turn up lol. form goes out the window in these games, doesn't matter how ****e you have been playing, this is bitter rivalry and players WILL be motivated for it, could go either way. hope we win obviously, need points for top 4 finish.
wtf is wrong with the stupid editing thing on here? typo in last post, obviously meant 4-0 to us not arsenal lol as we whooped their ass. all i get is a blank box and reason for editing, why is that even a question? mods editing peoples post fair enough, explain your self, but my own ruddy post, and not even the post to edit.
Bad news mates, I understand Howard Webb is going to be the referee for this game. FA up to something?.
wouldn't surprise me dribbles, where did you get this info from? very depressing if true. now all we need is for coward webb to let utd kick the ****e out of luis all game and then send one off in the 89 minute to make out he was not bias lol
With Spurs losing today and the fact they play Arsenal next week.. Win this one and I think we'll almost certainly be returning to the champions league next season.
Matt the octopus seems to think if they play against us as they did against WBrom, they'll win I really hope they play like that against us!
They'll have to play a hell of a lot better than they have all season. They were better today, but only in comparison to the crap they've churned out all season.
That's assuming we get the good Liverpool and not the one that faced Villa, Southampton (first game), etc.
I was making that assumption. I'm not expecting us to turn in any indifferent performances between now and the end of the season. The goal is in sight, and the players should be desperate to do their best. Gerrard should take a cattle-prod on with him, for anybody that is giving less than their all, Glen.
This is one of the four games a season I expect to see a in-form Gerrard. He always plays better against Man Utd and Everton. I think Suarez tries harder in the games against Man Utd too. He doesn't have as good a goal scoring record as he has against others but he's run them ragged just about every time IMO
He hasnt. Hes had one good game against us. His first. Alot depends on our line up. To many cleverleys, youngs and Valencias will mean moyes is taking the cowards road. Something like yesterday would be the best option. Not going to say we will win, still think its too little to late... However, a win over you lot and 4th place is back on. This will show if moyes is even capable of being a United manager. If he surrenders the points with the line up then we will know.
Though mathematically possible, an 11 point gain in 10 games is asking too much imo (12, if your thinking of catching us). You would have to go on an incredible run to manage that- not to mention us taking a nosedive- and then Moyes would be God, and you'd be stuck with him for the foreseeable future.
Looking at your defence yesterday, if Jones plays like that we'll eat you alive. I think the 3 that finished the game up front would cause far more problems for our defence than who he'll start with. RVP strangles all fluidity and creativity from your attack. It's he who is getting in the way not the other way around. Will be interesting.
Well as i said, beat you and its on. 9 points isnt impossible. Looking at your fixtures and the effect losing to united could have, it would certainly be on. Unlikely as it may be, I would at least expect us to significantly close the gap. Still think liverpool will get it though, as I dont think we will beat you.
