He had a moment at right wing as well and put in a good ball which almost made it through to Sturridge!

Did find it funny after losing it at CF just decided to take the man out to give himself time to get back. Proper CB <laugh>

We isolated RVP and Januzaj and limited them to 1 and 5 forward passes in our third respectively.

We limited United to 2 successful crosses (out of 20 attempts).

*As MoTD2 Kilbane and Mills said, their forwards couldn't get behind the defence - Moyes apparently does not instruct them to do dangerous runs without the ball, as Rodgers certainly does.

Both teams managed 9 shots from inside the penalty area, however Skrtel & co blocked 5 of United. We led in blocks 6 to 1, tackles (37 to 31), but were intercepted more (likely because we were looking for the less safe pass)

I dont think you beat United. I think the players have decided its time for him to go. I fully expect us to lose comfortably against the Greeks and against West Ham.

City doesnt even bare thinking about. I only hope hes sacked before then.

hes destroying the club, while he is here its only going one way.

It's not looking good, yes support the manager and all that but I think I would find it difficult in the face of the performances. Results sometimes don't go your way but if you can see the idea that the manager has and the effort from the players you can live with it.

We've scored 30 more goals than you btw.

  7. I understand what you're saying and would understand the sentiment behind players maybe playing poorly to get a manager sacked but I'd never condone it. If that was true and at Liverpool, I'd want every single one of the players gone too.

    I wouldnt.

Under these circumstances I am happy these highly successful, proven players are telling this nobody how it is. Moyes would do well to learn from the more experienced players.

Also isnt that how your lads acted with your hero Woy?

Apparently Giggs is the head of the MUFC players no moyes club.

That in itself tells you everything.

There are other similarities, just look at all the soundbites that he comes out with it's Woy all over. Everything he says winds the Mancs up.

Kagawa? Since when does a Japanese rebel and break out of order (unless it is followed by slashing their own stomach with a sword)?

RVP, 100% though, but I doubt it would be the first time for him lashing out at Moyes. I can easily imagine Moyes's reaction, silent, eyes apopping, puzzled look, tilt of the head as RVP rips into him <laugh>

  16. Mascerano refused to play and Torres didn't try on the pitch (but then, he was acting the **** before Rafa left anyway) other than that, I don't believe the players were trying less. It was more a case Woy picking players like Konchesky and Jovawhateverhisnamewas. Plus, most others have been ****ed off since too.

It was probably RVP - he's already criticised the teammates and training methods, and he comes off as a petulant and arrogant little c*nt. <ok>

Thing with Moyes is that there is no plan. You can't see what he's trying to do - at least with Rodgers, we knew he wanted to bring back attacking football. First it was passing, possession, then over time he adapted. But the underlying mission was to play attractive football and score goals.

There has been zero improvement in terms of consistency and performances - no cohesion in the team and you get the sense that Moyes is stuck between what he really wants to do (hoof it up to Fellaini) and playing the Utd way. He's scared to make changes and play the way he really wants - and when a manager is scared to make big decisions because he's afraid of the crowd, then he's the not the person to be leading a massive club like Utd.

  19. When Adebayor left, didn't he say there was a certain player in the camp that caused too many problems? Most guessing at RvP at the time too?

Possibly Vidic since he is already out the door to Inter.
