Only idiots talk about the number of penalties. The important factor is the number you get compared with the number you should get if the referees always applied the rules correctly. If opponents have conceded 20 genuine penalty fouls against us why should we be happy that 15 were given? Next you'll be saying all teams deserve equal numbers of own goals and referees should disallow any above a certain average.
Only a total idiot would contest that despite having the most penalties awarded by a street this season, that it was still way less than what you should have had and that somehow pointed to a referees bias against you ffs. You don't half chat some ****e you lad.
I didn't say bias. That only applies to 1 penalty, the stonewall against Arsenal that happened right in front of Coward Webb. The rest are just crap refereeing.

Tiresome! If we have got more penalties then that is due to the quality of our attackers and the failure of opposition defences to cope with them. We've scored enough goals from open play to clearly demonstrate that we do not play for penalties but if they are awarded then they will be despatched with efficiency. In reality this is a non-argument for supporters of lesser teams to debate amongst themselves. It has nothing to do with this thread and should be ignored for the waste of space that it is.

So that rules out unfairness We have a very quick skillful attack and fouls will happen Ther are some we havent got as well, like the Eto'o one for instance Take away our 12 pens and we've still scored the 2nd most in the league! I agree. All I took issue with was astro making out that you were still on the wrong end of referees decisions, despite having by far the most pens awarded in the division.
