Doubt i'll get back on tonight, but may I remind everyone we are playing in the Champions League tonight?

We're all well aware how **** we have been this season but we have been waiting ****ing years for this and we have it, so cheer up a bit and get behind them!! 2 wins and we're through. Do it dramatically for all I care, what we were best known for and we didn't whine about it back then!!

    COME ON LIVERPOOL!!!!!

very true, but we had the players back then, we now have a bunch of shambles lol.

i just hope we see some commitment and effort, and hopefully the result will take care of itself, no pushovers though.

Can't see us getting anything tonight, another half arsed performance, 2-1 to Ludo and goodbye Champions League.

Its embarrassing if the players can't get motivated for tonight and I hope to be proven wrong, but just can't see it.

    Rodgers really needs to pick a battle strong team, in my opinion something along the lines of;

    ------------------Mignolet (sadly)
    Manquillo---Skrtel---Toure---Moreno
    --------------------Can
    ----------Henderson---Coutinho
    -----------------Sterling
    ------------Borini---Lambert

If we do, where does that leave Rodgers?

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling, Lambert.

Substitutes: Jones, Lovren, Coutinho, Moreno, Lallana, Borini, Can.

Glen bloody Johnson again! What is wrong with Moreno? I assume nothing if he is on the bench. Why leave out a really good talent Brendan? Are you an idiot?

If Lucas is playing as a CDM today with Gerrard further forward I expect our midfield to actually be pretty decent today, and hopefully Rodgers will then learn fom it (unlikely...).

Other than that I'm happy with the team!

So a diamond presumably, with Gerrard behind Sterling and Lambert. At least it's something a bit different, albeit Johnson and Gerrard are still playing. Wonder if the inclusion of Toure means we won't play with such a high line? Then again, you would think Borini is better than Lambert for a swift counter attack.

For the Facebook video announcing the team the editor has made Glen Johnson the thumbnail image. He is taunting me. The editor totally done it on purpose to wind every one up!

Borini is better than Lambert (and Balotelli) full stop.

How about Sterling behind Gerrard and Lambert up front?

Boys, I'm obviously in the minority but I've got a good feeling about tonight. I reckon we will win 4-1. Wild optimism maybe, completely unrealistic also, yet I'm actually looking forward. Enjoy the match lads.

4-1 sounds a bit optimisti, but if we play properly, there's no reason we can't win. We just don't seem to be able to play properly at the moment and confidence is low.

From twitter just for the look

    Unimpressed

I called for Hendo advanced today. I called for Gerrard and Johnson to be made into glue at the knackers yard

Unimpressed both start. It's severely undeserved. I agree Moreno is being treated like a pariah here and we will have nothing on out left side tonight as a result

Moreno is obvious, but who would you play Can instead of and in what position?

Point 1: I dunno, if I had one shot and had to choose whether Borini or Lambert shoud take it, not sure which I would choose. I do like Borini thoguh, and he certainly brings more than Balotelli.

Point 2: Sterling may as well run onto his own passes, he'll get there quicker than either of them <laugh>

For me, Henderson. Henderson's been over work and look exhausted. I think he needs 2 weeks on the bench.

Think rodgers has picked one of the better sides. 0 - 0 half time then 1 -1 full time.

that team is set-up for a draw. Utterly abysmal. Skrtel? Johnson? plus a midfield trio of Lucas, Gerrard and Henderson.

    No Can
    No Borini
    No Moreno
    No Lallana
    No Party
