You were going to finish in top 2 imo, but the pressure that City put on you yesterday for the title has been relieved somewhat today. Chelsea are so **** ffs, I felt a win for them as well could have caused an upset tomorrow.
Been confident of us beating both Palace and Newcastle for a couple of weeks. The only thing thats changed is who's hand the title is in. We weren't expected to be top four never mind challenging. Man City were expected to win and its now theirs to lose. All the pressure is on them, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Yup, in a weird way we probably had more chance coming from behind (ooer) to win it than if we were in front with 2 games to go and all the pressure was on us. I'd fancy us to win the 2 games left now it's not in our hands compared to if we were a point ahead at this stage. Saying that, would still rather be the 1 point ahead though!!
Today is a huge day for Dr Steve Peters Ronnie is currently trailing Selby in the World Championship final Liverpool go to Palace needing 3 points #nojinx
So there's a game on tonight...anyone got news of a team lineup yet? I would expect to be unchanged, depending on the fitness of the likes of Sturridge..
I'd really like to believe that Moses won't get another minute for the remaining two games. I think his opportunity to prove he's good enough to be bought in the summer has expired. Aspas perhaps might get another cameo - he did have a very good season last year in La Liga. Not given up on him yet
Lucas still plays then. See us getting beaten in midfield. We need goals!!! At least Sturbridge is back.
Yeah, agree on Lucas. Love the guy, but he isn't suited to the that role. I'd rather see someone young come in and give it a go.
Hmm. Don't see us dominating the way we need to. Lucas playing? Couts was one of the good performers against the chavs. Odd choice. And for the love of god, why is Asps even on the bench? Give Alberto a chance. Can't do any worse.
