I see eat you stop replying when we accept points you've made. You did what you had to do. We didn't. But by God the fact we are having this conversation makes me so proud....And yes tubs check back on MY posting history and you will see I believed we could because of what we did but was never going to declare we won it... How could you with a five point spread with 9 to go?? We are still in it....we're just where Chelsea still are and City were a week ago....
What an absolute utter ****ing ****. Seriously you bellend why? The **** do you acheive? Post has been swiftly dealt with.
I'm in two minds whether to pity them for being so dumb and believing that ****... Or pity them for thinking it was a clever post to wind us up. Idiot either way
It's no master stroke having 10 men defend 18 yards all game, and hoping for any luck you way. City came and played a proper game, it was end to end football. a top of the table clash which was richly entertaining. They didn't just "hope" for any luck, they fought for the win, but in the end the better team won. Chelsea were utterly embarassing, playing like relegation fodder, an underdog from the 1st minute. Took no initiative and only one team wanted to play. A damn shame football at times rewards such teams.
At least you've got some oil! A mate on the Levels had his tank filled 2 days before the floods arrived at his house. Unfortunately some utter twats emptied it after they evacuated!
Anyway, my ratings: Ming: 7 Coped far better wish the set-pieces and throw-ins than expected. can't be faulted for either goal. Johnson: 5 Plenty of the ball in both halves; little imagination. Flanagan 5: Offered nothing going forward. Skrtel 6: Did nothing wrong but was troubled by Ba. Sakho: 6 Did nothing wrong either and the goal wasn't his fault, but we lucky not to be a goal down from a corner before their first goal when he, Skrtel and Ming lost their man. Lucas; 4 Pointless playing him today. Gerrard: 5 Not his best day. Mistakes happen, but several frustrated shots from 35 yards didn't help things. Allen: 7 best midfielder, but doesn't have the spark in the final third as Henderson. Coutinho: 6 best player in the first half, played on the halfway line in the second trying for Hollywood passes. Sterling: 6 Started out like a house on fire, Lampard did an Alonso tackle on him of 2004 vintage and he spent the rest of the game flitting in and out rather than buzzing. Suarez: 5 Worst game for a long time. Knew he would get wound up and frustrated, and Jose did a professional number on him. Subs: Studge 5 Still injured Apsas: Not on long enough to be scored, and given that woeful corner that's to his benefit. Overall: 5 Professional job by Chelsea which showed our limitations. Been a great ride this season, and it's still not over (though it's more hope than expectation now), but we nearly won that league by accident, without really being tested and showing our fight. Today we were really tested - we didn't pass. But let's give thanks for being there at the end, for once. Wonder how long it'll be before we're in the mix again?
Defending is a skill. If it was as easy as you are making it sound then everyone would have done it at a field this season. I still think you will win it but Jose tactics today we're perfect.
Dudes!!! Chelsea and City spent a fortune this year...And last year ....And yet....little ol us have scared the **** out of them. Now we or BR can't change the limitations of our squad this year but Ffs look at what they've done!!! So question, can and will BR address the defence problem or will his answer be buy better attackers...including FB's lol
