Well said Dave. You can't change the oppositions style of play you can simply take advantage. We haven't learnt how to do that against a negative side...it was clear before Chelsea. Learning curve...And BR has been quietly pointing that out these last ten weeks. Of course I'm disappointed that we've lost control but Jesus, the fact that we had control at all!!!!
I'm on my iPad so will expose that post for the total hypocrisy that seeps from it tomorrow, as I can't be arsed powering up my PC
Only one team wanted to play football, your ONLY PLAN was to stick 10 men behind the ball and defend the 18 yards. It's not the first time we've seen Mourinho do it. Doesn't take a genius to know what he wanted from the 1st minute. But today was a new low tbh.
How dare Mourinho turn up and not play in the way that favoured your style. How dare he come up with a game plan that negated your strong points and limited your ability to create chances. How dare he look to hit you on the break and score 2 goals whilst keeping a clean sheet. Absolute disgrace
I'm still very proud of our team and our manager. What I have witnessed this season has delighted me. But we are nowhere near the finished article and both manager and team have to develop. However, the future is very bright. Having said that I still feel gutted tonight - but tomorrow is another day!
Lol dave. Comical guy. Old as time and im pretty sure you dont intend to be funny but you sure do crack me up.
To be honest, this stage of the season, it's results based, thrills and spills go out of the window, I'd have taken a dour 1-0 with an OG going in off a Chelsea players behind, it didn't happen, they won, we move on and try to get what we can from the last two games.
