Maybe. However one thing we all know is that their passing game rarely works against United.
The old Utd - a Huge difference. The Moyes Utd is a completely different outfit. You know it, I know it, the whole country knows it.

Our passing game is on another level this season. Much quicker and more precise.

Lol, what is Rodgers smoking? Coutinho was utter **** when he came on. Nearly over hit every pass he made.
And that, Ladies and Gentlemen is why we don't mention the T word, and why we shouldn't take for granted our lofty position. This was the first real challenge we have faced this season and we got a slap. Could not get near them, Arsenal were very silky on the ball and had time all day.
I know he has only played a few games but Cissokho has been mediocre, I can't see what he offers.
I missed the first 20mins, what was the reason for Flanno playing tonight? Really tough game for him to be thrown into.
That's a complete load of bollocks. The difference between both sides was small - but significant enough to accept that the result was well deserved. Arsenal played as they play - with all of the attached strengths and weaknesses. We changed and therefore lost. Forget the Flannigan change. Whilst it did have a major effect it was not the reason why we ultimately lost.
In my estimation we lost because from the kick-off, we gave them the initiative and looked to maximise our efforts on the brake. That just played into their hands and we paid the penalty. We let them pose the problems rather than us taking thre initiative and pushing them back. They deserved their win but they are no where near as good as they would like us to believe.
Nobody here understands why Flannigan replaced Johnson but it did effect us greatly - especially as Cissokho was almost useless as an attacking wing half and even worse as a full back! Therefore having no wide threat we had to play into our area of weakness our midfield. Lucas was nowhere near as bad as some on here would have you believe. But Gerrard was moved 10 yrds forward and therefore the 2 got seperated. However, it did mean that all of our attacking moves were covered because they had done their homework well on Gerrard's percentage passes. Until Coutinho arrived there was no real midfield creativity. As for the little Ford you can't really blame him, it was is first game back and he's still learning. As a result our forwards were feeding on scraps and it showed.
We lost. We deserved to lose. But let's not get carried away. We can put this right.

After leaving the pub, I had to take a mate home then fetch the mrs and kids before coming home. Whilst driving, I was listening to TalkSport.
Now, don't get me wrong, I know there are some proper 'tards that ring that show but there were a couple of callers that were beyond belief tonight. They were saying BR has/is taking us nowhere and that he needed to be sacked!
An shambles![]()
Oh right mate, Sagna is a helmet like
You've been ****e here btw - Gerrard & Lucas wtf?
Atrocious. it's become almost sacrosanct not to criticise Lucas now, and I felt Gerrard spent half his time covering for Lucas rather than the other way around. Truly don't know what Cissokho brings to the team. He's no wing-back. Flanagan was far better. Should have played coutinho from the start.
Fair play to Arsenal. Till they scored, I thought we looked better without threatening. Only one team in it after that, though we did create a lot more when Coutinho came on.
But back to Sagna; that's not on. The way things are going, I think we will get back to a situation where we carry on unless the ref thinks it's a head injury and stops play.
Coutinho put a hand in Sagna's face, hence his displeasure.

Watch it again Hans, he that only AFTER Sagna stuck his face in his and screamed at him for not putting the ball out (debatable if even saw he'd hobbled back on the pitch to stop the game anyway).
Bacary Sagna is normally a model pro, so you must have angered him in some way.
And it's considered polite to put the ball out if someone is down injured, like Gibbs was. and Gibbs is rumoured to be out for a month, so he clearly wasn't faking it.

He was angered because the ball wasn't kicked out, Gibbs may well have been injured (like you say, he's rumoured to be out for a month) but he was off the pitch in the first place, he then walked back onto the pitch and then sat on the floor cause he couldn't move. We weren't in the wrong IMO, the ref didn't see much wrong with it either, hence why he didn't blow the whistle to stop play.
