Yeah, they're also allowed to punch players when the balls in the air without touching the ball... Jump into someone's back with their knee and finally, fall over like they've been shot if someone dares jump within 5 yards of them
every time we try and break on the counter they just wrestle our player to the ground. it stops us in our tracks
Problem is they're all taking it in turns so 3 of them have been booked for it but no one done it twice to get sent off.
How are we supposed to build up any kind of momentum if Mulumbu/Yacob get to pull Sterling down every time we have a chance of counter attacking? They should have at least one red card by now. Shocking refereeing.
West Brom are playing the Jose Mourinho tactic of stopping attacks by cynical fouling, certainly works.
No attack of ours EVER goes through the middle. Its crossing crossing crossing. Create something with a counter attack you ****ing lazy ****s. They sit back happily waiting for slow buildup. WBA have comfortably defended against us.
Need a late winner here to be honest. But we don't look like getting one, West Brom look more likely.
Utd and Chelsea have done the taking turns to foul trick for years. West Brom look as if they are happy to waste time and get a draw, which against a top 6 team they will consider a good result. I suspect if anyone is going to win this with a late goal it will be them. On Toure, when we signed him I said he was past it and would be a liability, but no one agreed with me.
There's no build up play from us. We're lumping it upfield. Hard to watch. Sterling has played well but we need to ask what his end product is.
