Coutinho made more tackles than anyone, with 5! Also made more chances than anyone with 4 (one more than Suarez)

Just on Everton, how toothless do they look without Lukaku?!

You'd have to think they need to sign a striker in this window, if they don't and he's out for a while they could easily drop down the table dramatically.

Also, it just shows how if your only threat is a loan signing, it really ****s you up for the following year (just look at WBA) as it's a massive short term gamble

If I upset anybody with my Half Time post - GOOD

1 game at a time though we move on to WBA and treat that just as seriously

Wow - what a performance. Full of energy, desire, passion and quality. Our attackers are phenomenal - the movement, the fluidity ...

    Coutinho's best game for LFC?

Gerrard, the heartbeat of the team.

The work off the ball was incredible - however, I do think we need 2-3 players but tonight is not about signings or transfer committees. Helps us develop a nice lead of them and hopefully Spurs will drop points as well.

    Buzzing!

They have just signed a 6ft 8" striker called Traore, don't know if he is any good, but I suspect he will now get a chance to play a few games.

  14. Good that Studge spoke to the camera. Brod probably forced him mind.

Gerrard was frickin awesome today. Maybe we don't need a new defensive midfielder after all. Lucas hasn't had a game like that from DM in 7 years he's been here

Nah, I think that came from him. He has to save face for his own rep. But fair play to him for doing it. <ok>

Good interview from Gerrard & Sturridge.

Gerrard doing his duties as captain and taking responsibility for the penalty saying he told Sturridge to take it as he's scored a hatrick against Everton and wanted him to experience it as well.

Then Sturridge quickly apologising for showing his disappointment at coming off before stating it's all about the team and not individuals <ok>
