I suppose out of all the games to do that in this would be one of them, especially with us being at home. Thought Cissokho was better than Johnson yesterday, which is saying something cause they were both ****, Johnson was just appalling.

Enrique is expected back on the 28th Jan, we miss him so much.

Which is why I put him there <ok>

Think he'll really shine in that role.

if you were that bad you'd have to be worried.. other wise you'd be like a lamb to the abbatoir. cardiff changed manager. thats one out or in if you like don't know which.... norwich might wake up and sack hughton like their fans want.. and swansea might get michu back.

I'd be owrreid if i was them but i would be agreeing that yeah on the balance others should go down.

sunderland are 8th in form table. they could mount a charge for top 10 <laugh>

I'd have agreed with you until the last few weeks. Pulis & Poyet are now breathing life into their respective sides & both have gone from looking like being dead & buried, to being right back on the heels of the whole host of clubs above them.

5 points only now between Cardiff in 18th & Hull in 10th!

Villa should be good enough to get enough points on the board, BUT, very often one side drops out of the pack with a dreadful run of form & gets passed by a side who've been scrapping for their lives all season. Lambert of late has given me the impression that they think they're comfortable at Villa at present & I think he could be complacent.

As always....this is a must win game :D

Nothing complacent and no ****ing howlers please. Smash the villains back down the m6, 4-0 at half time would be nice, rest a few second half and then focus on the FA Cup and the bitters <ok>

Don't know if I want villa or arse to win tonight.

A villa win will take 3 points from Arsenal and make them easier to catch...

... however a Villa win also means they will have higher spirits and confidence when we play them Saturday.

I'll take a Villa false sense of security plus Arsenal dropping points please. Open games suit us since we usually make some defensive mistake anyway.

Well Benteke breaks his scoring drought right before playing us..... Let's hope we can contain him if he is starting to get confidence back.

Villa are better away from home, so it will be a test.

Also, they have signed Holt - Holt and Benteke ... I'm already worried about our defence! Hopefully Sakho is back who can compete.

But all in all, should be taking 3 points and what a perfect opportunity to do so.

Looks like we got the worst of both. Villa lost but the fat belgian is in form again, giving them confidence...

We don't take 3pts against the likes of Villa that are, lets be honest a poor side that on the odd occasion get a goal via a big hoof up the pitch or a quick counter then we have no right being in the equation for top 4 or better.

Am gutted that nobody slipped up this weekend with the top 7 all winning, though it wasn't too hard to predict. The good news is that there are a couple of potential banana skins and either Chelsea or Manure will drop points this weekend. Another must win if we are to maintain our top 4 challenge. A clean sheet is nearly as important....but not quite!
