I don't watch Real much, but do Bale, Ronaldo etc fall over alot and get alot of freekicks normally? They seem to think that a strong hand off is a foul and flop to the floor, do the refs in Spain tend to fall for that?
Of course! Watching El Classico is like watching synchronised diving at the Olympics I must say it's not been bad, I'd say regular cl fare
Better game, still lacking up front despite a much better defence and mid performance and even Mings looked better against the world most expensive attack. Big positive note, Ronaldo was ****.
Yeah markovic did ok, seemed more at ease anyway Lallana is ok in a certain left channel area round the box but he's poor further out and too easy to muscle off it Can was half decent
Credit to liverpool. Decent performance even of you didnt really create anything. Questions over your best 11 though?
Never happy with a loss but that performance gives us hope that we have a team capable of winning games, we have to take that attitude into the Chelsea game and hopefully Rodgers will consider keeping some of those players in. Lucas was brilliant and with a few games under his belt he could be very important for us this this season.
Yeah he was bothered The reality is real controlled it and could've raised their game at any time but we take a narrow defeat and give lads a but of praise for playing for pride Well done I say
Proud of the boys tonight. Felt like an actual champions league game. We put in a level of performance that the tournament merits. If we put in a similar performance in the last two games I think we can get out of the group.
Easy game to superise. Every put in a solid shift but Real were just better than than. Toure was very good Manquillo is a lot better than Johnson Our midfield shape and balance is a lot better with Lucas in CDM Can and Allen show we do have some decent options in the other midfield roles Markovic looked better but lacked pace and a bit of desire Borini did well put was bossed by 2 top CB's. He offers a lot more than Borini. Our midfield shape became to loose after Gerrard came on. Coutinho looked good.
A lot of us have been saying that all season. Gerrard, Johnson and Balotelli shouldn't be the first name on the team sheet!
Nope, don't think anyone here has any questions over our best 11. We just all happen to disagree with Rodgers who, unfortunately, is the man who counts.
Real are far ahead of any PL team, great to watch, was interested when they knocked it about then we'd have to go and ruin it by winning the ball and playing some ****e.
