Let's just hope Suarez can do the business then Feel bad for the lad (Sturridge) had a great start to the season, hopefully he makes a swift recovery
TOP OF THE TABLE NOW 1.Arsenal 31 points. 2.Liverpool 24 points 3.Chelsea 24 points 4.Everton 24 points 5.Newcatsle 23 points 6.Man City 22 points 7.Southampton22 points 7.Man Utd 21 points 9.Tottenham 20 points Too Close for comfort
One loss and we could be 7th ( I didnt check GD ). But that scares me a lot. We need 9 out of 9 for the next few weeks to secure that position near the top. While Sturridge is a big loss we have some matches that he could have used a rest in anyway coming up.
I agree. There are many better teams and squads than us. We need the momentum and to be competing to stay at the top, if we drop back at any point I worry that we will struggle from then on.
We all like a laugh at Spurs, but they're only 4 points behind us despite their poor performances. That worries me.
I agree, we need 9 from the next 3 games imo that gap will start to get bigger over the next 6 weeks. This is a crucial part of the season and we need to keep ourselves in there.
The owner of Hull has just gone so far over the ****ing line: Assem Allam has told fans "they can die as soon as they want" in response to protests about his plans to change the club's name http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25174266 **** this ****
Their points are all undeserved, based on dodgy penalties. Sure, it's annoying they haven't been punished more, but it those decisions "even themselves out" over the season they will be truly screwed. Plus, it's only 1/3 of the season so there's a limit to how much of a gap can actually be built up, especially given some of the terrible performances of the bottom 8. If the form can continue, 4 points at this stage corresponds to finishing the season 12 points ahead of Spurs, which is reasonable.
LFC team: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Toure, Flanagan, Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard , Sterling, Moses, Suarez So I hear
