Well I think Henderson was very dissappointing

Barkley did ok when he came on, lallana not so much

End the end I'm glad Rooney got one as the press was being ridiculous... Just be the bigger man about it I think

Baines was piss poor, Johnston was piss poor (please sell his to QPR this summer) Welbeck was better in defence, Rooney was piss poor, Gerrard is too old.

Can we now offer Southampton £12M for Lalana?

Having a two man midfield of Gerrard and henderson never have worked together just them two, we usually have Allen or Coutinho helping them, Rooney won't do that it's not how he plays and when they play just them two it causes problems.

Roy has had his dream job given to him now let's have a serious chance next euros and get a good manager in.

Nope not at all. Why should you be that passionate about where you come from? Who the **** cares? Yeah fine support them if you like but come off it, it isn't important.

Utter dogshit. Where was the positivity of the first game? these are nowhere as near good as Italy.

    Anyway, my rankings:-

Hart: 5 Little to do and never did it. Really shaky at corners.

Johnson: 6 Best game for club and country for ages.

    Cahill: 7 England's best player.

Jagielka: 5 Completely lost Suarez twice.

Baines: 6 Anonymous in the first half, better in the second.

Gerrard: 4 Thought he couldn't get worse than against Italy. Dreadful defensively, had a hand in both Uruguay's goals.

Henderson: 6 Reached the heights of adequacy occasionally.

    Sterling: 4 Didn't turn up.

Wellbeck: 4 Shouldn't have turned up.

Rooney: 6 We built the team around him? One free kick, hit the bar when it was easier to score, missed a ****ing sitter and scored a tap-in nearly as easy as his one against Ukraine. Gave away several fouls and hardly competed a pass all game.

Sturridge: 5 Woeful shooting and fell over for half the game. Good work in the build up to the goal and most of his best work was nearer to the halfway line than the goal.

    Subs:

Barkley: 5 Tried to beat every player on the pitch every time he got the ball.

Lallana: 5 Did nothing. NOT an impact sub.

Lambert: 4 Two fouls, one mis-control and nothing else.

Hodgson: 6 Positive in the first game, handed the initiative to Uruguay in this one. Time for Rooney to go with Gerrard, Johnson, Lampard and the rest of the Old Guard. FFS, DON'T build the team around Rooney for the next tournament.

Overall 5. Gutted after that first game, totally gutted. But once again we see that top English premiership talent just doesn't perform on the international stage.

I kind of feel down tbh. Just look at Suarez after they won, it means so much to him. Uruguay means so much to him. It's not the same as his paid day job playing for us. The premier league is great but at the same time the players are paid a fortune and it has ruined the purity of the game. I guess that's why the World Cup is the best competition in the world.
