I like Maya, as i feel he has integrity and honour. He tries his hardest, and doesn't try to foul or dive. He is an honest player, just wish there were more like him in the game generally. Now I've said that, he will make two blatant dives, get sent off in his next game and punch the ref in retribution, and then steal some old grannies hand bag as he leaves the stadium .
Yep, I like Maya too, for all the reasons you state. But let’s not pretend he’s Michael Svensson. He’s every bit as error prone as all our other CBs. If he punched a ref, it would only be in self defence btw
I can’t read the whole thread, did Hughes get sacked with the worst win record of any manager in history or did he manage to salvage that ignominious statistic before the end ?
