His behaviour on the pitch has just been exemplary and off it too. And I must say that Jose showed class by letting the player play at a top club rather than stay on the bench in WC year.

He had only good words to say about his former club, teammates, and manager and supporters. Within 24 hours and without touching a ball he is already a huge asset to United (definitely much more than Â£37m if the huge boost can ever be quantified) and he is a player who United supporters can truly get their children to idolise without any misgivings.

A true model professional and an example to all.
