Alonso on top in a scrappy session that didn't show us Hamilton's or the Red Bulls' option pace. please log in to view this image If Liuzzi can't take part in qualifying will the other teams allow him to race? He's been outside 107% of the hard tyre times in the previous two sessions, I think.
I have a feeling Alonso was quite low on fuel when he set his fastest lap. When it comes to qualifying, I think he'll only get into the high 1m13's. Red Bull are clearly the fastest here, and they're very good in Sector 3. At the moment, I have the feeling that the pecking order is: Red Bull>>>Ferrari>McLaren>>>>>>Mercedes Still think Vettel pole, but Alonso will do something special.
My Prediction 1. Vettel 2. Webber 3. Alonso 4. Hamilton 5. Massa 6. Button 7. Heidfeld 8. Shumacher 9. Petrov 10. Perez Rosberg is 6th if he makes qualifying.
I don't think he did, did he? I thought he went out on options after the restart at the end of the session but didn't get round before the chequered flag, which means he wasted a set cf. the Red Bulls.
I am pretty sure I saw him set a timed lap on the options, I do not know how trouble free it was and after the lap he came on the radio to ask where he could find time.
BBC Coverage Starting now. The chain rings round my whole Road as we wait and see who will get pole around the great streets of Monte Carlo.
